The Hope Grows at Home Foundation
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 6, 2026
This website exists to explain our work and make it easy to reach us. The only personal information it collects is what you choose to type into the contact form. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to that information.
"We," "us," and "our" mean The Hope Grows at Home Foundation, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation, 527 McNeilly Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15226.
Overview
hopegrowsathome.org is a static informational website. It has no user accounts, no login, no ecommerce, and no advertising. We do not run third-party ad trackers, and we do not sell or rent anyone's information. The site collects personal information in exactly one place: the contact form.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form, we receive:
- Your name and email address (required).
- Your phone number, if you provide it.
- Which audience you identify with (homebuyer, funder, and so on), if you choose one.
- The message you write.
Information collected automatically
When the form is submitted, our systems also record the submission time, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string. These help us tell real inquiries from automated spam. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, additionally keeps standard, short-lived server logs for security and performance, as almost every website's host does.
How we use it
We use contact form submissions for one purpose: to respond to you.
- Your submission is emailed to our team so a person can reply.
- A backup copy is stored securely so a technical failure cannot lose your message.
- If you asked about buying a home, we may use what you shared to point you to the right program step.
We do not add you to a newsletter or marketing list by submitting the form. If we ever start a newsletter, joining it will be a separate, explicit choice.
What we never do
- We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We never share it with third parties for their marketing.
- We never use the contact form to build advertising profiles.
We would disclose personal information only if the law required it, or if it were necessary to protect someone's safety.
Where your information lives
Contact form submissions exist in two places:
- Our email inbox, hosted by Google (Gmail).
- A secure storage record on Cloudflare's infrastructure, used as a backup.
Access is limited to the small number of people who handle inquiries for the foundation.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The spam-protection widget on the contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a short-lived functional cookie strictly to verify that you are a person and not a bot. That is the extent of it.
Third-party services
The site relies on a small number of infrastructure providers:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, processes form submissions, and provides the Turnstile spam check. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Google (Gmail) delivers the notification email containing your submission. See the Google privacy policy.
Links to other websites (for example, HUD-approved counseling providers or partner organizations) are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.
Retention and your choices
We keep inquiry records only as long as they are useful for responding to you and maintaining a simple history of correspondence.
You can ask us at any time to show you what we have from your submissions, correct it, or delete it. Email bkopropertysolutions@gmail.com or call 412-592-1605 and we will take care of it.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the form, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and its "last updated" date. Substantive changes will be described here plainly, not buried.
