What We Did

Navarro needed the unglamorous work that keeps a house healthy: a full roof replacement and a new HVAC system.

The aerial photographs show the new roof from above, a continuous new surface across the main structure and porch, with clean edge and flashing work at every transition. A roof replacement is the single most consequential repair an older house can get. Everything below it, framing, plaster, flooring, electrical, depends on the roof doing its one job, and the before photograph shows a surface that had stopped doing it.

Inside, the crew installed a complete new heating and cooling system. New HVAC is invisible in photographs and enormous in a family’s monthly budget: it means predictable utility bills, even heat in a Pittsburgh winter, and no emergency furnace replacement two years after closing, which is exactly the kind of surprise that breaks a first-time owner’s finances.

The bathroom was rebuilt from bare masonry walls into a finished, tiled shower room. The before photograph shows the starting point, exposed block and stripped surfaces, and the after shows the same space with a fully tiled shower, new fixtures, and proper lighting.

Roof, mechanicals, and a wet room: none of it is decorative, and all of it is the difference between a house that costs its owner money and a house that shelters them. We renovate to that standard on purpose, because our buyers are working families investing their savings, and the house has to hold up its end. Like every home on this page, Navarro was renovated by our own crew rather than subcontracted out, which is how a roof, a furnace, and a bathroom get coordinated as one project instead of three separate bills.

Every project here started with someone telling us about an empty house.
