Who we Are

The Hope Grows at Home Foundation is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation established in 2025 and recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We buy vacant and distressed houses in the Pittsburgh area, renovate them, and sell them at or near break-even to income-qualified owner-occupant buyers, alongside related housing stability, education, and community revitalization programs.

Eligibility for our housing programs is determined using objective, nondiscriminatory criteria, including household income, mortgage readiness, and program fit, applied through our formal application process. Descriptions on this website do not establish eligibility, and submitting the contact form does not create an application or a place in line.
